Construction of the first Pucca Quila Ghat in the Sangam area, part of preparations for Mahakumbh-2025, is set to begin in the next two days. The 30-meter concrete Ghat will cost ₹8 crore and will be overseen by the state irrigation department. The construction will start after receiving a no objection certificate from the Indian Army. Two other Pucca Ghats are also expected to be constructed for the Mahakumbh-2025 event.
